Privacy Policy

This policy explains how tholocal, a trading division of Entulo Group (Pty) Ltd (registration 2026211651/07) ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal information. We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Entulo Group (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a Visibility Check or contact us, you may provide your name, business name, suburb or area, and anything else you include in your message (for example your email address or phone number).
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type and access times) to keep the site secure and reliable.

How the Visibility Check form works

The form on this website does not send your details to a database on our servers. When you tap "Send on WhatsApp" or "Send by email", your device opens WhatsApp or your email app with the details pre-filled, and you choose whether to send them to us. We only receive what you actually send.

How we use your information

• To prepare and deliver the free Visibility Check you request.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask for.
• To keep reasonable business and accounting records.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where necessary to provide the service:

• WhatsApp / email providers carry the messages you choose to send us, under their own terms.
• Google Business Profile is where we carry out the work, on your instruction.
• Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical logs to serve and protect the site.
• Google Analytics processes anonymised usage statistics so we can improve the site.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors arrive from. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes limited usage data, including a shortened IP address, on our behalf. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell this data. You can opt out with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet reasonable business or legal requirements, after which we delete it.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@tholocal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
